Friends First is one of the first six companies in the world to achieve the W-Mark, the Global Website Standard.
- Initially awarded in 2004, by EIQA (Excellence Ireland Quality Association), the W-Mark certification process brings together quality associations from the UK, USA, ASIA and Europe to ensure its global recognition.
- The W-Mark offers organisations the ability to have company web-sites independently evaluated and audited to globally recognised standards.
- Web-sites are rigorously audited and scored on such items as Consistency and Appearance; Accessibility; Privacy Compliance Management; Navigation; Data and Information Security Management and Customer Service Commitment.
- The W-Mark is awarded to successful organisations following an initial audit and is subject to two audits per annum to ensure ongoing consistency and adherence to required standards.
In 2003, Friends First also became the first life assurance company in Ireland to be awarded the Q-Mark for quality.
Both of these standards have been successfully retained and improved upon each year.
In 2006 Friends First were also awarded the prestigious prize of
EIQA National Q-Mark Financial and Insurance Services Winner 2006
