News > Friends First Raises Awareness of the need for Income Protection
Friends First have Launched a New TV and Radio campaign to raise awareness of Income Protection.
The campaign will communicate how Income Protection, a form of disability insurance, provides a replacement income if you are unable to work due to illness, accident or disability, until such time as you return to work, regardless of how long this may take.
This campaign introduces the theme "disappear", which is designed to illustrate how without Income Protection, some of the everyday luxuries we all take for granted may soon begin to disappear if your income is no longer there to pay for them.
With Income Protection from Friends First, they will remain, secure until you return to work.
"Today, most people assume standard health, mortgage and car insurance is sufficient for protecting the things in life that matter. However, most forget to protect the one thing that funds these and other everyday necessities: your income. Our market leading Income Protection insurance plans are designed to suit the varying needs of the Irish workforce. We want consumers to secure their income and have the peace of mind that with Friends First Income Protection, if unable to work, they need only focus on getting better. This is a major ad campaign for Friends First. We
realised we needed to inform consumers about Income Protection and also
our market leading position in Ireland. Our hope is that consumers
begin to take the value of their income seriously and put in place the
measures to secure their incomes and their futures with Friends First." Friends First, Head of Marketing, Eamonn Twomey.
